Polyol Esters: The "Performance Benchmark" of Synthetic Base Oils.

As a core synthetic base oil in API Group V, polyol esters, with their unique molecular structure, form a dense metal adsorption layer. Four-ball mill tests show wear scar diameters of only 0.38-0.42mm, demonstrating anti-wear properties far exceeding mineral oils. With a pour point as low as -60℃ and a flash point exceeding 280, they perfectly address the pain points of "difficult low-temperature starting and easy high-temperature failure," making them suitable for extreme operating conditions of turbocharged engines above 900.

Polyol esters, in synergistic formulation with base oils such as PAO, compensate for the deficiencies of single base oils, constructing an ideal internal combustion engine oil system. Through precise control of the molecular structure, a viscosity index exceeding 160 is achieved, maintaining stable viscosity over a wide temperature range of -54℃ to 200, balancing low starting resistance and strong oil film strength. Meanwhile, it is highly compatible with additives, has an RBOT induction period of over 520 minutes, excellent oxidation resistance, and extends the oil change interval to 20,000-30,000 kilometers. It meets the latest API SP and ILSAC GF-6A/GF-6B specifications, suppressing the LSPI risk of TGDI engines from the root.
