Flame-retardant hydraulic oils using ester-based base oils

Synthetic ester-type flame-retardant hydraulic oils are based on synthetic polyol esters with carefully selected antioxidants, hydrolytic agents, and corrosion inhibitors to ensure excellent oxidation and hydrolytic stability.

 

Synthetic ester-type flame-retardant hydraulic oils offer superior performance: excellent lubrication and shear stability; low pour point, high flash point, high viscosity index, and a wide operating temperature range; excellent compatibility with hydraulic system materials, including most sealing materials such as nitrile rubber, fluororubber, polytetrafluoroethylene, silicone rubber, and urethanes; outstanding thermal stability, long service life, easy biodegradability, and environmental friendliness. Furthermore, HFDU is easily interchangeable with mineral oil-based hydraulic oils.

 

HFDU is suitable for hydraulic systems in continuous casting production lines operating under harsh conditions, as well as hydraulic systems in blast furnaces, furnace dismantling machines, hot rolling mills, foundries, ladle valves, power plants, coal mines, and other equipment requiring flame resistance and safety. It can also replace phosphate ester-type flame-retardant hydraulic oils. Operating temperature range: -30~150°C.

 

Hi-Ester 3046, Hi-Ester 3068, and Hi-Ester 4068 can all be used as base oils in fire-retardant hydraulic fluids. Please feel free to contact us for product details.
