Synthetic Ester ♻️

Mineral oil prices stay high — lubricant makers are dosing more synthetic ester (mainly TMP C8-C10) to cut costs. In GTL/PAO/CTL formulations, ester content has risen from ≤5% to 10% (up to 25%), limited by hydrolysis stability and additive synergy.
