Viscosity Index Improvers: Smoother Engine Starts
VII reduces the variation of engine oil viscosity with temperature by more than 50% through the depolymerization of long-chain polymers at high temperatures and cross-linking at low temperatures. At the moment the engine starts (the low-temperature stage), VII maintains the low-viscosity characteristic to ensure that the engine oil is quickly pumped to the key components; Under high temperature and high load conditions, the molecular chains are closely arranged to form an anti-shear protective film, preventing the oil film from breaking.
