Pentaerythritol Ester
Pentaerythritol Ester is a type of organic compound synthesized by esterification reaction of Pentaerythritol (PE) and fatty acids (or polyacids), and it belongs to the typical representative of the polyol ester family.
Core features:
High boiling point and low volatility: With a large molecular weight and strong intermolecular forces, it is not prone to decomposition or volatilization at high temperatures (suitable for high-temperature working conditions).
Excellent weather resistance: The ester group and five-membered ring structure are stable, with outstanding resistance to ultraviolet rays and oxidation (suitable for outdoor materials).
Good compatibility: It can form a uniform system with resins, oils, polymers, etc. (improving the processing performance of materials).
Adjustable polarity and hardness: by adjusting the length of carbon chain fatty acids (such as a short chain/long chain) or introduction of unsaturated bond (such as oleic acid), the polarity of the flexible control esters, flexibility and low temperature resistance.
