High-temperature Resistance and Low Volatility: The Core Strength of Synthetic Ester Base Oil

Compared with traditional mineral oil and some synthetic hydrocarbon base oils, synthetic ester base oils, with their outstanding high-temperature resistance and low volatility, are becoming the core choice in high-end lubricant formulations.

Synthetic ester base oil has a high viscosity index. Under high-temperature working conditions, its viscosity changes little and it can continuously form a stable oil film, effectively reducing friction and wear. Meanwhile, its molecular structure is regular and it has strong thermal stability. It is not prone to oxidation under high-temperature conditions, significantly reducing the formation of sludge, carbon deposits and paint films, thereby extending the oil change cycle of lubricating oil and the service life of equipment.

In terms of evaporation control, the molecular weight distribution of synthetic ester base oil is concentrated, with low evaporation loss. Even during high-temperature operation, it can maintain the stability of oil volume and performance, reduce the frequency of oil replenishment, and lower oil mist emissions. This advantage enables it to be widely applied in fields such as high-temperature lubricating oil, refrigeration oil, aviation lubricating oil, hydraulic oil and industrial gear oil.
