The Environmentally Friendly Characteristics of Pentaerythritol Ester

Pentaerythritol Ester has become a popular choice in the field of industrial lubrication due to its excellent biodegradability, low toxicity and sustainability.

Biodegradability: Degradation rate >60% (OECD 301B standard), compared with mineral oil (degradation rate <30%), pentaerythritol ester can be rapidly decomposed by microorganisms, reducing soil and water pollution. It is particularly suitable for scenarios prone to leakage such as Marine equipment and agricultural machinery.

Low ecological toxicity: Harmless to aquatic organisms (passed fish toxicity tests), free of heavy metals and aromatic hydrocarbons, in compliance with REACH and EPA environmental protection regulations. It can be used as a food-grade lubricant (NSF H1 certification), safe and pollution-free.

Long service life & low volatility: Reduces waste oil emissions, has good high-temperature stability (decomposition temperature >300℃), extends the oil change cycle, and reduces waste generation. Low volatility (NOACK evaporation loss <5%), reducing VOCs (volatile organic compounds) emissions.
